Come get away and relax while enjoying the gorgeous lake views, fishing, boating and swimming is right in your backyard. Launch your boat less than a half mile away at Canoe Creek Landing then pull your boat up to your private dock and get your sunbathing on while sipping an ice-cold drink or try your luck at fishing and enjoying the Alabama sunshine. Bring your own paddle board or kayak to paddle around the point and park it at the dock where you can enjoy a midday picnic. After a successful day fishing throw your catch of the day on the new gas grill or make some s’mores over the fire pit with the provided wood. Inside you’ll find a newly furnished kitchen with full sized stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave for all your entertaining and dining needs. The dining room table seats six with great views of the lake where you can enjoy beautiful sunrises as you sip your morning coffee. In the Living room you’ll find a Lazy-boy queen sleeper sofa, loveseat,, and a 35 inch t.v. equipped with Dish Network so you never miss your favorite show or game. The bedroom has two new full sized beds and mattresses making the total sleeping accommodations up to six comfortably. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo making vacationing with kids a clean-up breeze. All bed sheets and blankets and bath linens are provided however A laundry room with a washer and dryer is available for use as well should you require to clean the linens as there isn’t a daily maid service provided. The property has a storm shelter and the home has central heat and air for your convenience. Trash bags and a starter of dishwasher pods and laundry pods and dish detergent. Along with a couple of rolls of toilet tissue and paper towels and also a few keurig pods are also provided. This rental property is a guest house to the owners home that adjoins the property next door. There is a shared driveway that leads to both homes on a point. The guest house Property is on the right of the driveway and the owners property is on the left. OWNERS LIVE next door and the driveway is the property lines for the homes. If you like to experience the "off the grid living" this is a perfect way to see what it would be like. You'll have the 50 acres all to yourself during your stay. This is a rustic cabin with a few amenities. Our Cabin has 2 lofts that will sleep from 4 to 6 easily. There's a refrigerator, microwave, gas stove top, and a small sink with hot running water. We have cooking pans, a toaster, Keurig pot, silverware & plates, glasses to make this a cozy cabin getaway. We provide 3 Keurig coffee per adult. Linens, hand and dish towels. Sugar and seasoning. We have a fire pit and a outside Charcoal grill. Heat/AC We have a outdoor shower. Last but not least, an outhouse and it does have lights as well. It just wouldn’t be the same without the outhouse. We wanted to keep it a rustic cabin, but offer a few amenities. Has plenty of trails for hiking and to see the scenery. All you will have to bring is your food, beverage and drinking water. We have hot water for the cabin, but not for drinking. We have very good cell service at the Cabin. So you'll still be connected to the outside. The peace, quiet and the fantastic view all adds up to a wonderful stay. ---------------------Please note---------------------- *******Impossible to get a 4x4 truck or SUV up this mountain. Its only accessible by a side by side or ATV******** We offer side x side rental to get up n down the mountain and drive the trails at additional cost of $75 daily. Weekly rate available. Cozy cabin, across the street from the Black Creek Trail System for hiking & biking. Centrally located to the I-59 interstate, downtown Gadsden AL, and just 2 blocks from Noccalula Falls Park. A great getaway but still convenient to attractions and shopping. This is not a child proof home for little ones. They will need to be well supervised. This is a rustic cabin, with decorations, lamps, and little things to steps, and uneven rocks. You will love the home even if you have little ones. I just prefer to let you know in advance. For Fishermen: We may not have enough room for your boat at the cabin. We have been able to accommodate 1 boat, not multiples at the parking area there. However, we have plenty of room at our house, further off the road than the cabin. You’re more than welcome to keep it up here. It will be closer to power, further from the road, and on more level ground. Easier access to hook up to if you take it loose from the truck. We will be as accommodating as possible. Like I said, we have a big yard and you’re welcome to park anywhere in it that looks good to you.

The house is located in Lisa's Cove near Stemley Bridge off of Highway 34. It is easy to find by both water and land. The Address is 160 lisas Cove Talladega Al 35160. The beds consist of two king, one queen, 1 full and one set of bunk beds with a full on the bottom and twin on top plus a trundle bed in the livingroom. Completely furnished with central air-conditioning, dishwasher, stove microwave, coffee pot, cookware, charcoal grill, television with cable, DVD player, and outside stereo. To keep cost down we ask guest to bring Linens and towels. Pontoon boats are available to rent at Poorhouse Mariana. Do not use my neighbors boat ramp or ask them. We do not have a boat ramp.
